The good news is, you can play Stranded Deep with your friends, the bad news is there is no way to run a dedicated server for the game. One person will be the host, preferably the one with the fastest upload connection/computer hardware.  This will give the best experience for all the other players involved. Another thing to consider is the host will have to be playing the game or willing to leave it running to allow the other players to finish the session. So you wouldn’t want the guy that can only play 30 minutes a week to host a group.
